JERRY PARADISE
& The Paradise Family Clinic
From the late 1960s to the early 1990’s, the Paradise Family Clinic served as an integral part of therapeutic care to a small community in southern Illinois.
During this time, Jerry Paradise, [now deceased] electronic musician/religious guru, was extremely active in a variety of experimental audio and video projects- with a focus on sleep and dreams.
After the death of Jerry Paradise in 1996, the clinic itself seemed to almost disappear- only leaving a concrete shell of a building- filled with files and a variety of bizarre items.
A mysterious will and testament resulted in artist Orrin Taylor legally owning the building and its contents in 2018. His goal is to showcase all of the files that are found, reviewed, processed.
More files will be displayed in the future- as this is an ongoing project.
